So I added a new feature to this blog.
Have you seen it? Did you hear it? Do YOU know what I am talking about?
It is the Facebook like chat pop up at the bottom.
Here is why it should be effective:
Facebook celebrated its sixth birthday on February 4th, 2010. That day, Facebook announced that it now had over 400 million members (as of today it is much more). That’s a HUGE accomplishment considering that just a year earlier, they had ONLY 150 million users. Think about it – how many systems have you seen using Facebook advertising as a model of the business? WHY NOT HARNESS THIS IN ANOTHER WAY?

Question: what plugin are you using that is allowing the script to popup that says “hello friend..how are things going?, etc?

The chat button certainly gets your attention. Less in your face than popups but could get annoying if it pops up too much. I got it twice. Can you program it for how many times it shows?

It can be programmed to only show once per day. There are a few other customizable features too.

I agree with Sandy – you wouldn’t want it popping up on every page as it could get really annoying and turn readers away in frustration. Same goes for any pop up really.
As long as it can be programmed to pop up just once or twice then that should be fine. I think too many people are tempted to over do it with pop up boxes and the can just get soooooo annoying!

It’s a great feature the facebook pop up where can they be got.
With so man people on facebook everyone is used seeing this and I would say it will convert people to make a comment or subscribe

i think that i am going to have to get that on to my blog i think its great and i think thats cool the way its programed to show only once aday as pople who come back to your site would not like it popin up all the time , i think it would help your CTR
