It is common knowledge that everyone loves to get something for free. People are often seen stuffing hundreds of forms into contest ballot boxes, sometimes filling them out for hours at a time. It is unreal what people will do for a freebie (I know what lengths I have gone to!

The same is true with your website. If you are trying to target MORE TRAFFIC and increase your website production, then you should certainly consider adding free downloads to your site.
Downloads are extremely popular with web users today, especially when they are free. With many sites charging outrageous prices for the smallest download, a freebie is always welcomed. By offering free downloads, you will see that your website traffic will increase and those who use your site will keep coming back. It is a great thing to do and can be extremely inexpensive as well, even free.
When choosing which downloads to include on your site, ebooks are among the easiest to work with. Ebooks are partial or complete books on different subjects. You can even write the content yourself if you wish (I am working on one myself right now – coming within the next month or so). Sometimes you can find ebooks that are already written and are available for anyone to use on their site. If you want to offer something fresh and interesting however, you should only use original material that has never been published on the web before. Whether you write the downloadable ebooks yourself or hire a professional to help you, you will certainly see increased website traffic. When you are offering a web user something for free, such as a downloadable ebook, you are making them feel appreciated and warm. You are telling them that you are inviting them into your site, not specifically to take their money, but to help them gain information as well. This is a great way to build a good reputation and a devoted group of website visitors. So, go ahead and start planning your ebooks today. The sooner you get them posted on your site, the sooner you will see that increase in website traffic.

So, what is a JV or joint venture giveaway? They are a great way to get new, good quality products for free (member opt ins are required. If you upgrade the account – recommended – then you can download the gifts directly) You can find some find some valuable information and helpful tools all in a onestop shopping environment!
If you are a contributer, who is trying to build an email list, you can contribute to the giveaway and get subscribers who want to download your gift for free (really for an email opt-in)
You can join a jv giveaway either as a member or as a contributor. If you have your own product, or a PLR or MRR product, you can give it away as a contributer. If you do not have a product to give away then you can join as a member and download any of the free gifts that you want, all they require is your email address.
Each JV giveaway will have its own rules for contributors and you should study these as they will be different for each one. You are expected to promote the giveaways and your account will be monitored during the giveaway to see how much traffic you are sending to the JV giveaway. Some giveaways will just give your gift a low rank and move you down in the page listings… but other giveaways will remove your gift if you are not promoting the giveaway and maybe even downgrade your status as well.
